Videopoem Neon God

New York streets distant voices I never gave up on the rock n' roll dream
cold indifferent bodies shuffling by on the avenue of memory
we used to come down on the train when it was known at the central
jorma, patti and others at the Palladium we were young then
and we were going to change the world
as it was so much fun to discover sex and drugs
to go along with the rock n' roll that so saved our souls
down the mean corridors of Bell School
and they indifferent poses of jocks and geeks in
the horiace greeley cafeteria
I never forgot that rock n' roll dream through every
shitty job I had and believe me I had many
as the silver sppon of the qua came to be reamed up my ass
as the cancerous virus unleashed by the suits on madison avenue
and wall street spread through my conciousness
rock n' roll was the only thing to bring me through the storm
