Over the weekend.

Over the weekend I saw Dave Kolker and his band at Kenny's Castaway on Bleeker Street in the West Village in Manhattan. They play with a heartfelt energy which makes for a good evening. Dave seems down to earth and put me on the guess list to videotape him. So I left my brother's place in the East Village and walked over. I usually have trepidation going over to that West Village scene. Generally it's too trendy for me but then most of the city has become that for me. The walk, however, was fun. It was a hot sensual night in the village and it was fun looking at all the hot chicks flashing their goods along the street...
