America likes to talk a big game about nature but most people are just caught up in suburban drag mall...I need to get out there...especially when I have been listening to progressive politics and getting the real deal...especially when all my friends have sunk into apathy and I haven't been laid in a while...

A stream...
A stream in Wnippoorwhill Park in the thick of the summer...the idea of finding yourself in nature....just watched a county legislators show on cable access...it was a repeat from months ago...the thing reeked of staleness...it's why I hike out into thw woods....but this takes a price too as it can lead to isolation...
An image...
An image from three years ago...my act of revolution is to take a stance against the disposable nature of American culture...
Walking aloing side Central Park West...
Walking along side Central Park West I noticed the light was like a Rothko painting...
I search for light...
I search for light.....in my quest I got this shot at dusk in New York's Central Park...
Donny's bench...
Donny's bench in the winter...I like to stop by just to remind myself where I have gone to in time...the words are still going as are the images and video and web stuff....my myth has faded into the fabric of the noise...but that was inevitable....it still entertains me though....as we have all become legends in our mind...stars in our own movie...I lived to see it...it would have been fun if Don was here to share it with us well...this time I year we always would get fucked up...
Whippoorwill in late August...
Whippoorwill in late august...the secrets that lie admist the local...
Here on this Thanksgivng...
Here on this Thanksgiving being grateful for the things I have....the beautiful wetland pond I grew up from earliest days they bulldozed over in the name of progress...living first voices indigneous programming talking about how we are one...so many people I grew up having that rap with no longer in touch...our egos got in the way...

Another view...
Here's another view of the pond that is gone...listening to wendell potter former spokesman for humana...he's rapping about the lies the health insurance inudstry spin on us...it's all about the profit motive...and here's another view of the pond that is gone...as you listen to the noise in your head and my hair has turned white...
No longer...
the pond is no longer here...they tore up it for expansion....they are erecting a cold impersonal building and parking lot a top of it...and morning joe they argue about jobs...a lady just drove by in her mercedes...the train beleches down in the agora below...

the light glows...
the light glows upon their faces with the promise of the dream...the videopoem has just ended on the cable access...the sound of the drill hammers in the qua night...people busy with their own thoughts....despite googling several different search terms I still do not know the resuluts of last weeks elecitons in my voting districts...the radio plays the community station who took my blog...so much for a local voice....and the green girl didn't answer my email and the beer and the cigarettes are all gone but the light glows upon their faces under the green buch...

the leaves...
the leaves have now just about all left..and the corporate noise sings in the citizens head...but I do not preach...I have my own noise to deal with....it's just interesting to listen to the progressive critique of society fueled by rational analysis as opposed to the corporate narcotic dream fostered upon the culture by business interest...it was so sexy back in the day to talk to Mount Holyhoke girls this way...but that is so long ago and down in the sterile canyons of manhattan no one cares or the indifferent of miasma of black hooded brooklyn or my 40 something former acquiantances who drift in facebook dream...
