Seeing the landscape is paying attention to it...I had never been to the back of the Fair Ridge Cemetary off of Quaker Road...earlier today on Book Tv I was listening to an interview by Salmon Rushdie...he said one of the biggest challenges today is to pay attention while your reading...he was saying it's not like there is not reading going on today...he pointed to People Magazine as evidence of this....but reading with attention....he was talking about the attention deficit disorder the culture suffers today....our seeing has been corrupted holllywood and Madison AVenue image makers...that sounds preachy though and I want to avoid that senitment...who am I to judge anyone?...Im just trying to survive with my senses intact obliterated as they are by the information overload...
