The view is gone...they bulldozed it...they called it progress...the people here pay big taxes but they make no sacrifice....their children do not fight in the middle east....nor do their children go hungary...nor do they face foreclosure...they shoot up on the narcotic of fox news and mainline the opiate of the wall street journal...they say they are not for socialism...that obama is a communist...but they did not turn down his bailouts...they drive from their homes to the commuter parking lot...how much do they ever see of the landscape?...perhaps they walk their dog in whippoorwhill or gedney and they think that makes them one with nature...on the cable access station the tagline says community through media but when I asked to use the studio on the weekend I'm told it's not available and the dude running the community radio station only wanted to know how much money I could bring him..
but these words, these are my aquaducts to being and when they flow it's a good moment...
