the rain comes down
as I sit inside with the shades drawn
pale reflection of light against the floor
watcching youtube videos of varying quality
of John and Exene's latest tour
time slips away as does all focus
perhaps I'll take a drink to slip into dream
the information overload, isn't it sweet?
I see so many blogs dead
and so many people's social networks dead
but not mine
the rain comes down
nourish the creative soul
like ghosts they come to town
and like ghosts they leave
